About TiHAN
The DST-NMICPS Technology Innovation Hub on Autonomous Navigation and Data Acquisition Systems (UAVs, ROVs, etc.) is sponsored by the Dept. of Science and Technology, Govt of India, and will focus on cutting-edge technology development, promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship activities, and manpower training in the broad areas of Autonomous Navigation (AGVs, UAVs and RoVs).
Internship Domains
Selected interns will have an opportunity to work in one or more of the following areas:
- Autonomous Navigation Systems
- UAV/Drone Technologies
- Robotics and Autonomous Vehicles
- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
- Computer Vision and Image Processing
- Embedded Systems & IoT
- Sensor Fusion and Data Acquisition
- ROS (Robot Operating System)
- Control Systems
- Simulation and Testing
- Software Development for Autonomous Systems
Roles & Responsibilities
During the internship, candidates will:
- Assist in ongoing research and development projects.
- Design, develop, and test software/hardware modules.
- Support UAV, robotics, and autonomous system development.
- Develop algorithms using Python, C++, MATLAB, or ROS.
- Perform experiments, data collection, analysis, and documentation.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with faculty members, researchers, engineers, and fellow interns.
- Contribute to prototype development and technology demonstrations.
Eligibility
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Pursuing or completed B.E./B.Tech
- Basic knowledge of one or more of the following: Python, C++, MATLAB, ROS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for autonomous systems, robotics, drones, and emerging technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary research environment.
Internship Duration
- Minimum 1 Year
- Extension may be considered based on project requirements and performance.
Stipend
- ₹12,000 per month (For Graduated)
- ₹8,000 per month (Undergraduate Student)
