Position Overview
The Digital Learning Manager will lead the design, implementation, and management of TiHAN’s digital learning ecosystem. The role involves driving digital transformation in education and ensuring that online and blended learning content reflects academic excellence, industry relevance, and learner engagement. This position will work closely with faculty, researchers, industry partners, and the program coordination team to curate and deliver innovative learning experiences in the domains of engineering and emerging technologies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Ph.D. (preferred) or PG in Engineering (preferably ECE/EEE/CSE/IT/AIML/ Mechanical)
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in digital learning design, eLearning development, or educational technology management.
- Proven leadership in managing end-to-end digital learning projects.
- Expertise with LMS tools, SCORM/XAPI standards, authoring software (Articulate 360, Captivate, etc.), and learning analytics platforms.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute TiHAN’s digital learning strategy aligned with institutional goals.
- Manage the end-to-end development of online programs, microlearning courses, and hybrid training modules.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the digital learning team.
- Oversee the creation of multimedia learning materials, simulations, and digital labs.
- Ensure content reflects academic rigor, accessibility, and a strong user experience.
- Implement modern instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.) and eLearning best practices.
- Manage TiHAN’s Learning Management System (LMS) and related digital platforms.
- Integrate analytics, xAPI, and learning data tools for tracking learner engagement and outcomes.
- Explore and deploy new technologies such as AR/VR, AI-driven learning systems, and gamified content.
- Coordinate with TiHAN’s research and technical teams to translate complex engineering topics into digital learning modules.
- Liaise with industry and academia to co-create specialized online programs.
- Ensure alignment of digital learning initiatives with TiHAN’s training and outreach goals.
- Lead, mentor, and grow the Digital Learning Team comprising instructional designers, developers, and media specialists.
- Facilitate peer learning, design reviews, and internal capacity-building workshops.
- Establish benchmarks for content quality, interactivity, and learning effectiveness.
- Use learning analytics and learner feedback for continuous improvement.
- Manage project timelines, vendor coordination, and budget utilization for digital learning initiatives.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and dashboards for review by leadership and funding agencies.
The Ideal Candidate Should possess the following skills and attributes
- Experience with AI/ML, robotics, or engineering-focused educational content.
- Knowledge of immersive learning tools (AR/VR, simulation-based training).
- Familiarity with video-based learning production and editing.
- Project management experience using tools like Asana, Trello, or Jira.
Selection Procedure
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on their eligibility criteria, academic record, and relevant experience.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated through email for the interview by the selection committee.
- Merely meeting the criteria may not guarantee a call for an interview.
- The position will be left vacant and a new advertisement with an extended date will be given if no suitable candidate is found.
