Eligibility
- B.Tech in ECE/CSE or related fields,
and/or M.Tech/M.E in Communication & Signal Processing, CSE, Networking or related fields,
and/or Ph.D. in Communication & Signal Processing, CSE, Networking or related fields.
1-2 years of experience in relevant areas
Key Responsibilities
- Strong fundamentals in Digital and Wireless Communications, 5G O-RAN architecture and frame structures, 5G NR PHY and MAC layers, aligned with O-RAN architecture and 3GPP 38-series specifications
- Design, implementation, and analysis of RAN procedures, including PHY algorithms (OFDM, Modulation and Coding schemes) and MAC mechanisms (scheduling, HARQ)
- Performance evaluation and KPI analysis across PHY and MAC layers, including latency, throughput, SINR, BLER, fairness, and QoS
- Implementation experience of the O-RAN network using RF simulators/SDRs
- Hands-on development in Linux environments, C/C++/Python, MATLAB for analysis and experimentation
- Protocol analysis and debugging experience, using tools such as Wireshark and logging/tracing frameworks
- Exposure to containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), development of xApps for AI-integration to RAN
